Minuit Fluer, the towns flowershop, is a quaint little house where the lower story has been converted into a shop. Shelves are full of pretty vases full of freshly cut flowers. Potted plants and small trees are arranged on the floor to make the shop seem as garden-like as possible. The front door is facing the main street and has etched glass windows. Through the back of the shop there is the area where the owner, James Wentworth, grows the fresh flowers he uses in his shop. The garden area leads out to James' back yard where he grows more durable plants and has a small vegetable garden. James himself lives in the second story of the house, above the flower shop. He keeps a very plain house, liking the contrast it makes with the vibrant colors of his shop. A wooden door from the office leads to a set of stairs, going to the basement.
The flower shop seems to do a tidy business, with all the tourists and elderly folk in the area, and gets a stead stream of customers through the day, and even occasionally late at night, last minute pickups for upset wives, most likely.
